Engineer Analyst
Review and Design of Fuselage Skin panels considering the tooling availability with client and various design criteria which the client follows.
Coordinating with Clients on technical details at onsite location.
Developing Visual Basic and CatScript automation macros to reduce the repetitive work, thereby reducing the execution time.
Fastener positioning and deciding on the type of fastener to be used based on the stack-up for Skin doublers and bear straps, stringer to skin riveting (Bear Strap and Cut-out surround).
Review of frames based on the basic sizing by considering various design criteria that has to be followed in the designing of frames.
Design of Joint parts like stringer splices, skin splices based on the basic dimensions of stringers and skin at the joint location. Deciding the presence of solid shims or taper shims by analyzing the data and suggest improvements keeping in view the manufacturing and assembly constraints.
Analyzing assemblies and identifying potential issues in design of the components.
